Bourbon Street Hotel and Casino was an off-strip hotel and casino located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 166 room hotel and 15,000 ft? (1,393 m?) casino was owned by Harrah's Entertainment.

History

Opened in 1980 as the Shenandoah with several owners including Wayne Newton. Over the years, the casino would see many owners, including the first foreign company to obtain a license to operate a casino in Nevada.

In March 2005, Harrah's purchased the property and several surrounding properties to acquire an 8 nbsp;ac (32,nbspnbsp;m?) land parcel just off the strip and adjacent to a Las Vegas Monorail station.

The casino was closed in October of 2005. In January 2006 Harrah's Entertainment started demolishing the property. Right now there are no public plans for the property.
