Las Ramblas Resort
The Las Rambas Resort is a hotel, resort, and casino project that is being built in Las Vegas, Nevada by George Clooney and Rande Gerber, and designed by Philippe Starck. It is scheduled to be completed in 2008.
Las Rambas will be built on Harmon Avenue, between the Aladdin and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on more than 25 acres. It will feature 11 towers encompassing a luxury hotel, condo residences, a spa and health club, nightclubs, and a casino. Because Clooney wants the hotel to be more adult-oriented, every room will have a stripper pole.
The design is inspired by La Rambla, a bustling open-air street in Barcelona.
This will be a unique project in Las Vegas, as 25% of the profits that George Clooney makes from his investment will be donated to the Make Poverty History charity.
